Everybody has a favorite season of the year.
Mine is Autumn. Everybody knows it! I’m really addicted and I always bore everybody on social networks with pictures of trees and leaves during this season. So I did this year, obviously!
I’ve been taking the following pictures in Milano and its surrounding during the past two months. All the pictures have been taken with my iPhone and edited by Instagram application. I took other pictures with my new camera – Nikon D750 – but they deserve another kind of post. Many of those pictures have been taken in the park close to my workplace – which is simply stunning on foliage season, some of them in Navigli district and others near Garibaldi Railway station.
From early October to last days of November the light becomes as golden as the leaves on some plants like linden or ginko biloba trees. And the trees are simply letting go of everything – their beauty, their foliage – to prepare themselves to winter and cold temperatures. So they become more and more charming while the leaves are changing their colors and starting to fall.
Can you believe that? That letting go of something could be so magnificent and amazing?
So Nature teaches us the greatest lesson of all.
And I do love to fix this moment every year, like a blessing, like a gratitude.
Enjoy!
