Recently I had the chance to photograph a couple of amazing friends which got married this summer with a Celtic ceremony.
The location was the charming and sacred wood of Bomarzo, which is a huge garden – and a little forest – with many fantastic and grotesque statues, designed a century ago and placed not so far from Rome.
Virginia, the bride, is one of my best friends ever and we know each other for a long time so you can imagine how excited I was when she accepted to be photographed by me and my “partner in crime” Mariacaterina.
Virginia and Simone were not used to be models, so they were really shy at first, but after few minutes they became more relaxed and they started to enjoy the shooting.
They became more passionate and they perfectly revealed their love and affection. Moreover, they are a really funny couple, so we laughed a lot during the shooting.
In the end Virginia told me that she was feeling so cuddled by us that she couldn’t wait to the next photo shooting.
I think that this is one of the best compliment I received as a photographed since I started to dedicate more time to portraits and people.
