The Old Man of Storr

I was dreaming of visiting the Old Man of Storr since the first time I saw Stardust movie in 2007 and when I started to plan this journey I couldn’t help to save some time to go hiking to these amazing mountains. It was a foggy and cloudy morning, and we could’t see the top of the path because the Storr and other rocks were hidden by the mist. The scenery during our climb was quite hunting and charming at the same time: it seemed like being in some fantasy or gothic tale. My husband and I were not so well trained for the hike and we suffered a little during the last part of the steep trail, but the satisfaction of having succeeded after all and the view from the top of the rocks definitely worth it. No more words, just look at these pictures!
