Imago Volant

This is the second part of our photoshoot done on a late December afternoon; together with my lovely friends Mariacaterina and Daphne we decided to experiment with female portraits and nature, taking inspiration from the enchanting beauty of tangled trees during winter season and the expressive charm of our model Daphne.
The thing I like most of these photos is that Daphne seems actually like rising from the bush and the wood, awaken by the cold light of winter, like a powerful sorceress, one with surroundings nature.
The result is something like… a Wicca version of Maleficent!
